Amanda Forest - Intuitive Artist, Healer and Coach

Amanda Forest

Amanda Forest is an intuitive artist, healer, and coach, on a mission to help incredible people become unstoppable. Through her strong intuition, she guides others through emotional and spiritual healing through her online coaching business.

As an artist, she connects to her intuition to create beautiful intuitive healing tattoo designs. Intuitive tattoo design is her practice of listening to Spirit and your unique energy, identifying pain, energy blockages, or new stages of your journey, and using artistic symbolism to heal, protect, and guide you closer to embracing your whole and authentic self. The tattoos she designs are done through her connection to Angels, Spirit Guides, and Source Energy (what she calls Spirit). During a session, Amanda will draw from her intuition to create a beautiful piece of artwork that serves as a symbol of the earth medicine you need to grow.

Amanda is also the creator of The Lioness Academy, a new brand that is putting the self in self-help. As Amanda shares, the Lionesses is unbridled power and passionate, creative energy. She masterfully achieves exactly what she wants. Through her work, Amanda will help you step into your growth, prosperity, and leadership. I’m so excited for you guys to connect with Amanda, check out her work and podcast, and follow along!

I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

Hello! My name is Amanda Forest. I am an intuitive artist, healer, and coach. I help incredible people become unstoppable, both through their emotional and spiritual healing and in their professional careers. I have just released my own podcast (hooray!), and I am growing a beautiful online coaching business.

Self-love is the drive behind what I do. My most powerful work is an energy healing practice called Intuitive Healing Tattoo Design. I offer hour-long sessions of energy healing, with an included oracle card reading, to unlock the power within my clients and help them to shine. I receive intuitive messages from Source energy while we work together, which I then use to create a High-Vibrational healing tattoo design. The imagery that comes to me is based on spiritual meaning, world folklore, as well as the wisdom of natural medicine. The custom tattoo designs that I create for my clients are a combination of any of the following (and more!): animals, plants, crystals, sacred symbols, herbs, magickal objects, the elements, minerals, planets, and stars.

How did you get started?

I took the leap and hired my first coach, (using my financial aid money! Yikes!), to help me develop my crazy dream into something I could share with the world. I had the passion and the creativity down, but she taught me valuable lessons about business creation and management, how to market myself, how to manage my time, and how to function in a very non-spiritual world with this off-beat spiritual idea that I had to offer. I have huge limiting beliefs about money, and sometimes I doubt that I have the ability to manifest everything I need. Working one-on-one with someone helped me feel the fear, and do it anyway. I discovered that when I take big leaps and trust the Universe, I raise my frequency enough to align with the things I desire to attract. What you focus on, you create more of, so I focus on providing the best for the amazing people I work with.

What inspired the work that you're doing?

I have always loved tattoos, and after I had gotten a few, I realized that there was an important connection between my wellbeing and the artwork on my skin. I felt more confident, beautiful, and strong with each piece I got, and the intentions for each of them have healed me in ways that still blow my mind. I wanted to create tattoos for others that had specific symbolism for the purpose of healing the emotional and spiritual bodies... and have it be an opportunity for some deep self-care magic as well. It is so important to invest in our personal growth, as well as taking time to recharge and treat ourselves to beautiful experiences. Energy healing has opened my mind to so many possibilities. I want to encourage the passionate, creative people of the world to express themselves authentically and without fear. Everyone deserves a chance to heal.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

My biggest passion is making art. Designing tattoos with so much love and attention takes me away from the stress and uncertainty of everyday life. I tried to reject my purpose as an artist to pursue something more "practical", but I just wasn't happy. So I decided to throw myself into creativity with no guarantees! I was put here to bring love and peace to the people of the world through art, and living this life is the best decision I have ever made.

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

Surrounding myself with inspiration, drinking peppermint hot chocolate, spending time with kind and clever friends who fill me up with ideas, attending rock concerts, magic bath rituals, a high-vibe skincare routine, dancing, earning income from doing things that I enjoy, cuddling my cats and putting my ear to their bellies to listen to them purr, gardening, decorating my home with beautiful artwork and funky furniture pieces, burning beeswax candles, sweeping and purifying my healing space, tiramisu, Thai food outings, swimming in the ocean, and tending to a campfire.

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

I have a pretty big ego and an intense fear response, so the duo of voices in my head can be ridiculously loud sometimes. I journal every single day. It is important for me to release all of my thoughts onto paper to process them and see them from the outside. I also keep a color-coded schedule on Google Calendar, to help me stay consistent with my meetings and work obligations. I write everything down that I have to do (or at least I try!), so that the millions of thoughts and time zones and communication with clients don't continue to fly around my brain all day.

I invest in an extensive self-care recharging routine. I have shelves stocked with medicinal herbs and spices to brew into tea or drop into a bath. I do my best to wash my face twice a day, do my full skincare regimen, and once or twice a week I will do a full-body exfoliation and a face mask. I also put in the time for loving tattoo care, even after my tattoos are healed. I moisturize them and charge them with intention as often as possible. When my skin can breathe and thrive, so does the rest of me! Taking care of myself is a meaningful time for me to think of new ideas, retreat to books or podcasts to learn new information, or just relax and meditate.

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

She would be at peace. I had a tumultuous life as an adolescent and lacked consistency and security. I struggled with feeling like I was always behind, stupid, and worthless. If I could go back and tell my younger self anything, it would be, "You are on the right path. It is okay to not have all the answers. Life is not about getting accepted into Ivy League schools and starting a career in something 'secure'. There are no correct blueprints for your life until you create one. Trust your intuition. Focus on what you want, and not what others think about what you're doing. You are worthy. You are loved."

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to have the freedom, security, and resources to help as many people as possible; to expand my message and make it accessible to everyone. I will always be an artist and a healer.
