Meaghan Thompson is a soul business coach for the Wild Woman Rising. She serves and support Wild Women who are reclaiming themselves to rise up and live a purpose-led, fulfilling and magic filled life. Meaghan uses the Akashic Records, Shamanic Healing, Reiki, Tarot, and traditional coaching to help you use your spiritual practice to take aligned action in your life at home, and in work.

Meaghan came to this work through her own healing. She went from feeling numb, depressed and void to feeling full and empowered. Through connecting and learning to trust herself, she began to connect with her soul purpose. Today, she helps other women utilize, trust and act upon their own intuition to create the fulfilling life that’s calling them.

We all have the ability to step into being who we truly know we are, and Meaghan helps you do just that. It’s been so wonderful to connect with Meaghan and watch her grow and blossom, all while sharing her light and her joy. I’m so excited for you all to follow along and learn more!

I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

My name is Meaghan Thompson and I am a soul business coach for the Wild Woman Rising. I support women to stop treating their soul purpose like a side bitch and do the dayum thing. To commit 150% unequivocally to what they KNOW they are meant to do. To shift out of fear and self-doubt and get crystal clear on their purpose so they can shift into sacred service for the betterment of the planet.

I just published my first book called “Coming Home” and that was a huge win for me. I’ve been dreaming of becoming a published author for years. https://www.amazon.com/Coming-Home-Discovery-Sessions-Akashic-ebook/dp/B07NDHKGCM/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1549544857&sr=1-1&keywords=coming+home+akashic+records

I have my first ever Soul Biz course called Soul Purpose Academy that serves female entrepreneurs to get crystal clear about who they are (at soul-level) to step into the energy of success. It’s the only program I know of that’s based on the Akashic Records and understanding your souls cosmology to get into the energy of sacred sales and marketing with ease not sleaze.

I’m also cooking up a Money Shadow course. This is for the woman who’s been manifesting money, doing the affirmations, taking the courses, budgeting and still struggles with abundance. This course is short, sweet and packed with powerful practices to dive into the shadow of our desires to unearth them and disarm the negative synchronizaties that cause money drama. From doing these practices myself,  I shifted from struggling in scarcity to having $60k in the bank.

How did you get started?

I started coaching because I needed to be coached. I actually started because I was connected with a woman named Kate Northrup. She invited me to work under her in this MLM called Usana. She preached financial freedom as the answer and I felt like she was right. After a year of trying to sling vitamins and get into financial freedom I was more in debt... I realized that the MLM model wasn’t for me. During that time I had just had a baby, was navigating being a parent and partner to a man who I loved but was never in love with all while trying to figure out who I was.

Here I was 24 years old, with a new baby, living in a new town and had no friends. The year and a half prior I had been in the rainforest of Madagascar studying lemurs and the traditional folk music of the Malagasy people. I had presented my findings to the American Embassy. I had traveled to Pairs and drank delicious expressions and ate baguettes.

I was lost, to say the least. Then I was introduced to the institute of integrative nutrition and my entire life transformed.

The coaching Pandora’s box opened and I dove in. Here I am, 7 years later and I’ve evolved a lot.

What inspired the work that you're doing?

My daughter has been my greatest inspiration. I realized that I couldn’t just tell her she could be or do anything, I had to show her. That’s why I do this work. I have to be the example, I get to live a fulfilling life of purpose.

The work I’ve done has evolved a lot too. I shifted into becoming a soul biz coach to fill a void I saw.

There’s so much out there for business and so much out there that’s woo woo but I couldn’t find anything that gracefully blended the two. Where your soul is the foundation of your business, it’s the blueprint you work from.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

My biggest passion is bringing women home to themselves. There’s nothing more rewarding than holding a woman in reverence and supporting her to breakdown all the conditioned thoughts and beliefs that had her stuck and in doubt about her magic. There’s nothing more rewarding than supporting powerful women who’ve forgotten their power to come back into alignment and show up to do their work. I believe that the world will be transformed by the western woman, as the Dalai Lama said. That transformation is an inside job first. Coming back to our own internal universal guidance systems is massive and is the shift this world needs.

I 100% feel like I’m living in my purpose. Some days I doubt myself, some days I waver. However, a good friend of mine once said “perhaps we doubt and waver so we are re-infused and reminded when we come back.” Self-doubt is the price we pay for commitment at times.

Sometimes, we must doubt in order to lean more deeply into faith.

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

Being in nature, being with my incredible family (my Irish husband, magician unicorn of a daughter, our two dogs bob and penny and our babe on the way), spending a great deal of time in sisterhood with my amazing friends, doing this purpose-led work and of course, singing and playing music as much as possible.

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

Living intentionally has been an ever-evolving practice for me, but my one foundational piece would be coming home to myself regularly. I do this by meditating, doing reiki on myself, doing yoga, breaking out the tarot cards, taking a nice long hike in the woods with my dogs, journaling and setting my intention for the day.

Being outside is a big part of grounding. It’s like salve for the soul. That’s why I live in the beautiful mountains of Lake Tahoe.

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

I think that she’d ask me “how the heck did I get so woo woo?” And then she’d be super proud of how far I’ve come and how I’ve created the most amazing and magical life.

We came from a rough childhood laced with alcoholism, scarcity and abuse. I think she’s high-five me for being so strong yet still so vulnerable and human.

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

Yes! “When wild women rise, we rise together.” And “this is all for me.”

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to support over 100,000 women to rise into their power to do their soul work to be deeply of service to our world. This, in my opinion, will shift the entire collective consciousness. There’s nothing more rewarding and powerful than a woman who knows her purpose and shows up to do her work, unapologetically.
