I'd love it if you'd introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're working on.

On a personal front, I'm married for 26 years to Karen and have two children Matthew (25) and Olivia (22). I live in the beach town of Sea Girt NJ and of course, the beach is a passion of my family. I'm also an exercise enthusiast that enjoys weight training, running and yoga. I have run two marathons, several half marathons and did a half iron man. Golf is also a passion. Professionally, I have been an executive in the software industry for approximately 30 years. I work closely with venture capital and private equity companies as I advise their portfolio companies and often join the companies as a Chief Revenue Officer, president and was a CEO of an early stage company. One of my biggest passions professionally is helping companies succeed through my advisory services as well as mentoring other business people to help them reach their fullest potential. I have been part of two IPO's and help sell three companies. I recently published my first book titled A Single Day of Peace. The book is an inspirational novel to help people live a more successful and happy life. The goal of the book is to help make the world a better place by helping people find their better place.

How did you get started?

I started my career in sales working for the great company ADP. There I learned the essentials of being a successful sales and business professional. I also deeply studied various aspects of success including goal setting, developing business plans, sales success, meditation, spirituality, positive attitude, mental strength and leadership. It is in this life long research that became the foundation of my book A Single Day of Peace.

What Inspired the work you’re doing?

I am always inspired by successful people. I define success as people that are joyfully following their passion and always trying to be the best they can be. Wanting to have a positive impact on the world, I realized that all the research I did on “success” would make a great book. Hence A Single Day of Peace was created.

What is your biggest passion? Do you feel like you're living your passion and purpose?

I have two passions – 1. Achieving the goals I set as I continue my personal and professional journey and 2. Having a positive impact on others. Working with people to help them grow and achieve their goals. Helping people achieve their full potential is extremely satisfying to me.

What is your joy blueprint? What lights you up, brings you joy, and makes you feel the most alive?

A few things - Making a positive difference in people’s lives. I found that when I’m helping people find a better place in their life I am the most inspired. Also, when I’m working in a team environment and achieving great things together, I “light up”. Finally, my spirituality and connection to god’s universal power is very inspiring to me. I’m most satisfied when I combine these things.

How do you live intentionally? Are there tools/resources/practices that you rely on to help you stay mindful and grounded?

As outlined in my book A Single Day of Peace, I believe that life is a self-fulfilling prophecy. I rely on controlling my thoughts to be the person I want to be and achieve the things I want to achieve. My book outlines 50 success principles that are the roadmap for happiness and success. I use these principles daily to be my best self and my book teaches others how to do the same. These 50 principles come from working with successful business people, spiritual leaders, professional athletes, billionaires, philanthropists, etc. These principles and my spirituality help me stay mindful and grounded.

What would your younger self think about what you're doing now?

I know my younger self would be very satisfied with what I do today. Ever since I was young I wanted to learn how to define happiness and success. As each year went by I became better and better at this definition and I know my younger self would be excited to know that I would be this person today.

Do you have a go-to mantra or affirmation?

I have a few:

  • Through the power of God, the energy of the universe and the law of attraction, great things are possible

  • Do what is right, do the best you can and treat other people the way you want to be treated

  • Work hard – nothing will get you to where you want to be like a strong work ethic

  • Ask God for help, you will be amazed with the help you receive

What is your biggest dream?

Have millions of people read my book A Single Day of Peace.
